Annual Burning Bowl

  • Center for Spiritual Living Central Texas (map)

Join a vibrant community of spiritual seekers as we delve into this powerful and ancient yet remarkably practical ceremony. Guided by Rev. Walt Brewer, participants will be invited to step into a sacred space, and encouraged to go deep inward on a path of self-discovery.

Rev. Brewer will lead us through a thoughtful exploration of the people, emotions, and experiences that have shaped our experiences in 2025. This gentle yet potent process will provide an opportunity to acknowledge, understand, and ultimately release what no longer serves our highest good. As we let go of the past, we simultaneously open ourselves to the boundless possibilities and fresh perspectives that await us in the coming year of 2026.

The Burning Bowl ceremony is more than just an event; it's an opportunity to connect with kindred spirits on a shared path of growth and enlightenment.

Following this deeply moving ceremony, we invite you to extend your journey of transformation by staying for an immersive workshop. This extended session, also led by Rev. Walt Brewer, will delve even deeper into the application of spiritual principles.  Learn practical tools and insights to further propel you along your personal path of profound change and spiritual evolution.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to clear the old and welcome the new with intention and grace.  Then stay to start or deepen your daily spiritual practice.

Cost: $27 (Pay at the Door)

After the Burning Bowl and the openness and possibility you realized, stay and intentionally slow down long enough to listen and allow your soul to breathe.  The Universe is not somewhere “out there”— It’s moving through us, as us.

It’s not a secret, it’s not complicated.  Starting or deepening a regular spiritual practice helps you process and navigate all of your life more easily and consciously.

Walt will offer practical steps to finding and being able to return to your center.  He’ll cover meditation, mindfulness, journaling, spiritual energy shift and gratitude.  Find what works for you and start now, which is right where the rest of your life begins.
